Here are 1 visual, 1 idea, and 1 question to explore this week.
VISUAL OF THE WEEK

THE BIG IDEA
“The mind is for having ideas, not holding them.” — David Allen
Think of your brain as a dynamic workspace where ideas are constantly brewed, tested, and refined. Generating fresh ideas isn’t about waiting for the perfect one to come. Instead, create the conditions for ideas to pop up by taking action—it’s about actively nurturing an environment that sparks creativity.
I've noticed one thing about people who truly make things happen: they move fast. They don't get stuck overthinking; they jot things down, sketch ideas out, and experiment with what works. Here are some dynamic ways to kick-start your creative process:
Journaling: Let your thoughts flow freely on paper or digitally. Write down even the wildest ideas without judgment. Over time, these scribbles can evolve into groundbreaking concepts. You can download the journal template I use here.
Mind Mapping: Sketch out your thoughts and visualize the connections between seemingly unrelated ideas. This process can reveal hidden patterns that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Immersive Experiences: Surround yourself with diverse inputs. Dive into books, art, or simply converse with others on the topics that interest you. Sometimes, the cross-pollination of different fields can trigger that “aha!” moment.
Action Over Perfection: Instead of waiting for the “perfect” moment, start small. Experiment with ideas, learn from the bumps, and adjust as you go. Success isn’t about having the best idea—it’s about taking action and evolving with every step.
Think of it like leveling up in a video game: the more you play, the faster you adapt, and the more natural the process becomes. When you train your mind to ask “what if?” on a regular basis, you unlock a steady flow of innovative ideas.
WEEKLY QUESTION
What’s one bold, maybe even uncomfortable question you’ve been avoiding—and how could asking it reshape your approach to challenges?
